CLE Lecture: Legal Issues for Influencers, Streamers, and Content Creators: IP, AI, Rights Clearance, and Advertising Disclosures

July 18, 2026 – New York, NY – On July 16, 2026, Justin M. Jacobson hosted a CLE lecture entitled “Legal Issues for Influencers, Streamers, and Content Creators: IP, AI, Rights Clearance, and Advertising Disclosures” presented by Wickard CLE. The lecture explored some crucial legal matters related to entertainers and influencers, including social media streamers and content creators. The CLE presentation discussed copyright law and Generative AI (GenAI), Name, image, and likeness (NIL) and right of publicity matters, and “Deep Fakes” as well as social media and live streaming disclosures. It focused on legal issues for influencers, streamers, and content creators, including intellectual property, AI-generated content, rights clearance, brand deals, advertising disclosures, and content monetization practices.
